The Emerging Markets Day is an engaging way to learn about the challenges multinationals face in an attempt to grow in emerging markets. The speakers will present their growth patterns and current challenges related to global growth. Participants will work in teams to engage with these “live cases” to learn by crafting solutions for the speakers to help address the challenges faced by their companies. The Emerging Markets Day will also a feature keynote session dealing with growth, non-market forces, social innovation forces and corporate social responsibility in emerging marketing. The Emerging Markets Day is designed to be an immersive and interactive experience for the participants.
This event is open to all students.
Students who participate in the Global Education Initiative can collect 1 point for attending the keynote and 2 points for each case session they participate in toward Business Practices.
Students can also collect Leadership points – 1 point for attending the keynote and 2 points for each case session.
The event is presented by UNC Kenan-Flagler’s Global Business Center.
