Emerging Markets Conference
From Strategy and Finance to Marketing and Operations

April 15, 2016

Kenan-Flagler Business School

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

Multinational corporations have invested heavily in emerging markets on the promises of savings in production costs and the global demand of an emerging consumer class. Many corporations are now facing headwinds, including in Latin America and Asia: slower growth, challenging infrastructures, and political and financial uncertainties to name a few. At the same time, emerging markets in those world regions as well as Africa continue to offer opportunities for companies' growth.

The Emerging Markets Conference features industry and academic leaders in strategy, marketing, operations, and finance. They will discuss opportunities and challenges of emerging markets and share first-hand experience in doing business in Latin America, Asia, and Africa.

The conference is presented by UNC Kenan-Flagler’s Global Business Center, Emerging Markets Club, and Latin American Business Association.
